Arduino and the Shield-Bot

The Shield-Bot brings Arduino C programming, electronics, and robotics together in a complete hands-on learning platform. Students build circuits, program and navigate their robot, work with tactile, light, infrared, and distance sensors, and experience the engineering design process through continuous building, testing, troubleshooting, and improvement. An extensive free tutorial series, educator resources, and a wide range of add-on sensors and accessories provide a proven path from introductory Arduino programming to increasingly sophisticated robotics projects. Requires approximately 40 hours of classroom time.
