Parallax's Commitment to Technical Education

For 30 years, Parallax has helped educators bring microcontrollers, electronics, and robotics into the classroom through hands-on, experiential learning. Beginning with the BASIC Stamp and Boe-Bot, our educational programs have grown to include Arduino and today the micro:bit, which has become our primary platform for K–12 education. Each platform is supported by extensive curriculum, tutorials, projects, code examples, and educator resources covering programming, electronics, sensors, robotics, cybersecurity, and physical computing. Just as importantly, Parallax supports the teachers who put these technologies into students' hands, offering free online and in-person professional development, classroom resources, and direct technical support. Our approach has remained consistent across three decades: provide reliable hardware, exceptional educational content, and personal support that enables students to build, program, experiment, troubleshoot, and learn by doing.
